The My Happy Hair Book is easy to read, has fun bright pictures and guides the readers (both young and old) together through all the thoughts, feelings and behaviours children have about getting their messy hair brushed.
It's also designed for parents and children to have a conversation about what happens in their own house about hair and that running away from getting hair brushed by an "ouchie brush" is ok and normal.
Written by Happy Hair Brush founder Jen Harwood, during the April/May 2020 Australian pandemic lockdown, Jen wanted to make it easier for parents to have conversations and strategies on getting hair brushed without fuss, tears or drama.
The book also addresses the long held concerns, beliefs and anxiety that many adults faced when they were small and also now when approaching their child's messy, knotty hair.
When readers will get to the end of the story, they will feel good about themselves, their family and be happy to know that life with their hair can be a a happier one moving forward.

STEP 1:Remove loose hairs by hand and with the brush cleaner.
STEP 2:Wash the brush head in warm water with shampoo… don't submerge handle. Rub the bristles with your fingers to remove the lint and dirt.
STEP 3:Let the brush dry naturally.
STEP 4:Use for brushing only! Don't use with hair dryer or extreme heat!
STEP 5:Clean as needed(a monthly review is good). Every brush and every head is different.

A $10.00 flat fee applies to orders under $99. We promise, this is less than it costs us to ship your precious goods to you! For orders over $99 we offer free standard delivery across New Zealand. Shipping fees outside New Zealand might differ and will be advised during check out.
Delivery
All orders are shipped with NZ Post. Please check your delivery address at the time of order, especially when using PayPal as sometimes an old address gets automatically populated during checkout.
Tracking Your Order
You will receive a tracking number from us via email once your order is on its way. Simply click on the link in the email and you’ll be directed to the NZ Post website where you can check where your parcel is at.

Returns
We have a 30 Day Money Back Guarantee. After that we can only offer refunds for faulty or damaged products. We cannot offer an exchange service for change of mind.
If you have received a faulty product, please contact us here to get in touch. Our returns process is easy: send us back the faulty product and we will send you new ones. We cover all shipping costs. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
